If we dive into the color realm and the way our eyes perceive them, we know that they don’t exist without light. The way that the light reflects and its correlation with shadows is the way that we input and create depth and style into hair color. It is essential to see the placement of the hair color and how it functions with each style. That was the goal of our last collection COLOR.ME – RADIANT FLUX. Located in a historic building in Prague, it was the light that inspired our team due to the tones and styles.
The “lived-in” movement has transcended all the aspects of styling, allowing hairdressers to adopt more creative measures in their salons. On top of putting them to the test of designing options on the spot, RADIANT FLUX puts definition and color placement in relation to the haircut. For example, a subtle trait of color around the face or a new detailed regrowth can transform itself to a central point in a style. It’s about creating a completely new attitude for the final look.
Hair color will be changing this season because we are moving away from the “warm” tones and going towards luminous copper tones. The techniques will also be transforming, with approaches that are more artistic inspired by classic artists. Getting inspired by structures of general styles, lighting and shadows will come into play for a completely new attitude. Soft and creamy copper tones, apricots, violets, and dark deep blues will be seen this season. The colors will be sculpted and nuanced in order to obtain finishings that are modern and striking.
“Radiant Flux” combines the innovation of new products with influences of fashion for a collection that offers new possibilities and results for salon services. Never before have we seen a color that is just as shiny as it is durable…until now”. – Kate Reid COLOR.ME design director by developing new color techniques and by experimenting with new trends at the heart of RADIANT.FLUX. The color attracts attention with its luminosity and natural variations in order to create rough finishings and a sculpted definition.
